crew.

On the announcement of the new partnership the Clipper Race Co-Founder and Chairman, Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, said: ”The toughest sailing challenges can only have the highest standard of equipment. That is why we welcome Spinlock as the Official Lifejacket Supplier to the Clipper 2019-20 Race to provide top of the range lifejackets for all our
crew to use.”

A long-time admirer of the Clipper Race, not least because of the challenge of completing the endurance race, but also because it introduces people from around the world into the wonderful sport of sailing, Spinlock CEO Chris Hill, comments: ”Spinlock is delighted to be working in partnership with Clipper Round the World Yacht Race in providing the latest products from our ’Protect Range’ for their Race Crew.

”Like Spinlock, the Clipper Race recognises that safety equipment should be treated as personal equipment and that crew will perform better and enjoy their sailing more if that product is designed to fit well, allow them to perform without hindrance, feel like a piece of sports equipment, whilst of course performing as a piece of safety equipment if required.”
